Anna Alon is an Assistant Professor in the International Business Department at Rollins College. She teaches Principles of Financial/Managerial Accounting. She received her PhD in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, her MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and her CPA in the state of New York. Her undergraduate degree in Accounting was attained from Case Western Reserve University.
Her research interests are in international accounting, transnational accounting regulation, and the evolution of accounting and auditing in transitional economies. Her articles have been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, inclduing The Journal of Business Ethics, Corporate Governance: An International Review, and Behavioral Research in Accounting.
Alon worked at KPMG, Siemens, and Kodak before she returned to academia. Her international work experience spans across a wide variety of countries. She conducted and led international engagements in Italy, Russia, Singapore, Brazil, and Australia, among others. She is also fluent in Russian.
