Learn more about our efforts to support Rollins employees.
Rollins College supports and encourages various types of recognition programs and tools to acknowledge and recognize the contributions and exemplary performance of our employees. In addition, Rollins College recognizes and honors employees who have reached certain service milestones. Awards are presented to employees in recognition for years of service beginning at five (5) years and every five-year milestone through forty (40) years and beyond. In the spring, these employees are recognized at the Annual Awards Celebration.
The Helen A. Ward Crossley Distinguished Service Award for Staff is granted annually to the individual staff member whose contributions to the College over time most consistently demonstrate one or more of the award success criteria.
The Thaddeus Seymour Award for Community Engagement is granted annually to the individual staff member whose leadership, dedication and commitment has created positive, socially just, creative, and focused ways of transforming the lives of the people, events, and environments in local and global communities.
This award recognizes a department or team that consistently demonstrates a high degree of excellence in teamwork and collaboration with other groups/departments, and has proven its willingness to assist others in the Rollins College community responsively, respectfully, collaboratively, and competently.
The Presidential Award for Diversity and Inclusion is intended to recognize and honor students, faculty and staff for their efforts aimed at promoting diversity awareness, representation and inclusion within the Rollins workplace and student community.
