Pays up to $200 per fiscal year toward previously approved courses of study designed to: increase the depth of knowledge or skills; maintain or renew the currency of their previous academic learning; or further formal education provided it will relate to an employee’s present position or provide development for future positions available within the College
High School Level courses prescribed for granting a diploma.
Undergraduate Courses must relate to an employee’s present position or provide development for future positions available within the college.
Advanced Degrees must relate to the employee’s current job.
Technical Schools, Home Study Programs, Adult Education Courses, etc. must relate to the staff member’s present position. All courses must be accredited by the applicable Board or Institute.
Other Courses - Offerings such as home review courses for professional certification must be highly job-related and be approved by the Human Resources Department.
Courses that can be taken at Rollins College through any of its programs are not eligible for reimbursement. Non-credit courses offered at Rollins may be eligible if highly job related.
Departments are responsible for tuition to courses that they require their staff to attend.
Only courses for which credit or a certificate is earned will be eligible.
Requests must be made prior to registering in the course to receive approval for taking the course. Applications are available online and in the Human Resources Office.
Reimbursement for approved benefit may be requested after satisfactory completion of the course requirements. Reimbursement forms are also available online and in the Human Resources Office.
