Long Term Disability is an insured program underwritten by Cigna. It is the responsibility of the employee to make sure that all physician documentation is provided to the insurance company for coverage.
Level of Coverage
- 66 2/3% of base monthly earnings
- $10,000 monthly maximum
Waiting Period for New Hires
- You must be unable to work for a period of 180 days before you are eligible to receive the benefit
Retirement Income Replacement
- College pays entire cost of the Salary Continuation and the Long Term Disability Plans

- Should you become disabled and become qualified for the Long Term Disability Benefit, the College will begin contributions of 7% of your LTD benefit into your Pension Plan provided eligibility requirements have been met to enroll in the Pension Plan
