R-Healthy Living Committee
Mission

As a strategic partner with Rollins' leadership, the R-Wellness Committee’s mission is to enhance awareness and help create and promote a healthy campus community in which to live, learn, teach, work, or visit.

Purpose

R-Wellness committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management by reviewing and making recommendations on selected practices, policies and procedures relating to promoting a healthy campus community.  Members also provide input regarding the development of certain types of programs and serve as a source of thoughts, ideas, and opinions from the staff and faculty body of the College.

Strategic Objectives

  • To help advance a high performing, healthy living culture
  • To build community around Rollins’ XXX
  • To provide ongoing wellness and educational opportunities for the Rollins community
  • To provide ongoing opportunities for XXX
  • To showcase and promote practices and programs that foster a healthy lifestyle

Programming & Schedule of Event(s)

The R-Wellness Committee will develop and administer an ongoing series of workshops, discussion forums, speakers, and events intended to foster dialogue, interaction, education and community building around creating a culture and community that promotes a healthy lifestyle.  On a monthly basis corresponding with the College’s academic year, the committee will provide monthly learning and engagement opportunities that achieve one or more of the strategic objective identified above.

Planning and Administration

Programming will be funded and overseen by the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management, with program development and administration coordinated by the R-Healthy Living Committee in conjunction with Human Resources.
