Four years ago Rollins College made a commitment to strengthen its service culture. What began as an idea quickly evolved into a collaborative, multi-year cultural change effort known as the Rollins Service Excellence Initiative. Through this initiative we have committed ourselves to the highest levels of responsive, respectful, collaborative and competent service to others. In so doing, we have raised expectations for everyone at Rollins. Good service is no longer an acceptable norm; exceptional service delivered consistently has become our new standard.
In our recent 2013 Service Excellence survey, the Human Resources Department achieved an overall composite rating of 5.0 or above, reflecting the high standard of service excellence that Rollins strives to achieve. The overall survey results suggest that the service excellence ethos has been adopted by the College and that improved service over time has made a difference in how Rollins students, faculty, staff and parents feel about the overall service they receive on campus.
