Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Hamilton Holt School offers financial assistance to returning college students in the form of scholarships, Federal Pell Grants, Direct Loans, the Florida Resident Access Grant, the Florida Student Assistance Grant and other loans and grants.

Florida Resident Access Grant
The Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) this awards about $1500 per semester to undergraduates who have been Florida residents for 12 consecutive months, regardless of financial need. You must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours per term) and you must complete your coursework to remain eligible. For more information about the FRAG, please go to the Rollins College Financial Aid Office.

Hamilton Holt Scholarships
Tuition awards are available to new or current undergraduate students who have at least a 3.0 grade point average. Most of the awards are based on academic achievement, academic promise, and financial circumstances. Some awards also are presented for exemplary academic promise, regardless of need. More than $2.2 million in tuition scholarships has been awarded since the Scholarship Program began in 1988. The application guidelines for Fall 2008 are now online. The application will be online after January 1, 2008.

International Travel Grants
As part of the institutional mission of Rollins College the Hamilton Holt School is committed to the education of students for global citizenship (Rollins College Mission Statement). Hamilton Holt School students are encouraged to consider international travel opportunities sponsored by the Office of International Programs or other accredited institutions of higher education. Partial scholarship support is available for academic travel experiences. Students must be currently enrolled in a degree program, be matriculated through the initial admission review process, in good academic and college standing (grade point average of 3.0 or above preferred), and must have a good record of personal responsibility (e.g. judicial record). Qualified students may consult the online guidelines for application deadlines and procedures.
