  • Walk-in help with resumes. Meet with Marian Cacciatore Saturday, March 22, from 9:00 am to Noon in the Olin Library, Room 265. No appointment necessary.

Career Services

  • Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
  • Provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
  • Act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.

Services:

  • Provide assistance to students in academic selection.
  • Assist students in clarifying professional goals through various assessments tools
  • Help students create successful strategies to change career paths
  • Promote internship opportunities available to students to obtain hands on experience
  • Coach students on all aspects of the job search, including resume and cover letter preparation, mock interviewing, networking strategies and successful negotiation

Career Strategies:

  • The Vault is the world's leading source of career information.  It will make your efforts at researching employers, industries, and career subjects infinitely easier and more efficient.  This new online resource contains: Downloadable Vault Guides, 3,500+ Company Profiles, 1,100+ Vault Career Advice Articles, Industry and Occupation Profiles, Internship Information and much more. 
    You can access The Vault by logging into your "FoxLink" account, and either clicking on "Learning Tools", or by clicking the "Student" tab and scrolling to the bottom of that page. 
  • Learn as much as you can about career options
    Do not underestimate the importance of research in your career planning. One helpful site is the Occupational Outlook Handbook.
  • Learn as much as you can about "you!"
    Learning about your skills and interests serves as a key role in career planning. Assessments are often helpful to adult students and are available by simply scheduling an appointment through the Holt School office.   • Keep asking questions!

  • Get hands-on experience!
