As part of its launch of alumni association chapters across the country, Rollins is seeking individuals who are interested in establishing the Rollins Club of Central Florida. Educating students for global citizenship has long been Rollins’ mission. Its core goal, and the heart of its new advertising campaign, is advancing connections to people, ideas, and community through a comprehensive liberal arts education.
True to these objectives, the local chapters will use faculty speakers, social gatherings, service projects, and family outings to help alumni reconnect with friends, meet fellow alumni, and network among peers throughout the year—in other words, to help them keep connected for life. If you would like to participate in the Rollins Club of Central Florida, please e-mail Assistant Director of Alumni Programs Elaine Liles at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 407-646-2266.
The Rollins Club of Central Florida kickoff event took place on Saturday, November 6 at Mary Jean Plaza on the Rollins campus as part of Rollins’ 125th Anniversary Celebration. More than 125 alumni and their guests gathered for drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and heard about the Rollins Club events for the coming year. After the alumni event, many crossed the campus to the Mills Lawn for “Music Under the Stars,” a two-hour musical celebration featuring the Rollins Nelson Department of Music, the Bach Festival Society, and the Rollins Department of Theatre & Dance.
We hope you’ll stay connected to the Rollins community by participating in future alumni events!
