The Hamilton Holt School Scholarship Program was established to provide financial assistance to qualified students who might otherwise be unable to pursue their education. Most awards are based on a combination of past academic achievement (a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average is required for consideration), leadership and service potential, and demonstrated financial need. The Scholarship Committee will determine eligibility based on the information reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

New college students should submit official copies of high school transcripts. International students must submit official TOEFL score reports.
2) Next, with the exception of international students, all applicants for a Hamilton Holt Scholarship are required to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available on the federal Web site, FAFSA, prior to the published scholarship deadline. Be sure to list Rollins College, code 001515, as a recipient of your information. Allow 4 weeks for processing. Please pay attention to the PIN signature requirement. The student and parent must sign the FAFSA. The form may be signed using a PIN available at the federal PIN Web site.

The essay should discuss personal and professional goals, relevant educational and life experiences, challenges and obstacles, leadership and service involvement, and why you think you deserve a Hamilton Holt School scholarship. International students must also include a statement regarding financial costs and needs. The top of the essay should reflect the following information: Student name and R-number, requested scholarship application term (see above), intention to attend on a full- (12 semester hours) or part-time basis, and contact phone number.
The essay must be submitted electronically as an attachment to an e-mail addressed to Holtstudentservices@rollins.edu, with a subject heading: Scholarship Essay.
The Holt Scholarship Committee evaluates all applications. Qualified applicants may be invited to campus for an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Applicants will be notified one to two weeks prior to the interview. Students will be notified of final decisions in writing. No decisions will be given over the phone.
Applications received after the published deadlines will not be considered for awards during the terms indicated. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that his or her application is complete.
