                  A greater familiarity with historiography

                  An ability to work with primary sources

Students can expect:

                  To read 1200+ pages of text

                  To write around fifteen pages of formal analytical writing

                  To complete additional assignments if required

 

300-level courses

Students will gain:

                  A detailed knowledge of a specific sub-field of history

                  The ability to research history independently

                  An extensive understanding of historiography

                  The ability to analyze and utilize primary sources

Students can expect:

                  To read 1500+ pages of text

                  To write around twenty-five to thirty pages of formal analytical writing

                  To complete additional assignments if required
