Routine gynecological care, including pap smears and breast exams can be scheduled. Birth control information, pregnancy testing and emergency contraception are available. STD testing is available for both men and women. The SHS is a State of Florida registered HIV counseling and testing site. When making appointments for STD and HIV testing, and you are asked for a reason, feel free to state "for personal reasons," and the subject will be dropped. Lesbian, bisexual and gay health concerns are addressed with sensitivity.
