Mission Statement

The Mission of the Division of Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs at Rollins College advances the mission of the College of Arts & Sciences by collaborating with the Faculty in creating and maintaining an environment that fosters intellectual, social, and personal learning and growth for our students.

Our vision is to foster and promote a healthy and caring environment that focuses on essential learning outcomes with an emphasis on personal and social responsibility.


Goals based on above mission statement:

  • To offer individualized, caring physical and mental health support services that contribute to the well-being, growth, and safety of the community.
  • To create safe and secure residential communities that are conducive to and focused on holistic student development, student learning, and student success.
  • To assist students in researching, identifying, and pursuing meaningful and productive careers through self-awareness, experiential education, and values clarifications.
  • To strive for a fair and just community by promoting student responsibility, accountability, and ethical decision making.
  • To provide opportunities for student involvement through intentional and meaningful experiences, that develop lifelong, responsible leaders and citizens.
  • To foster a mutually respectful and inclusive community which transforms ideas and perspectives to advocate for social change and justice.
