Give for Today

Every alum. Every parent. Every friend. Every year.

"Rollins’ small class sizes allow professors to push students beyond what they already know. That attention develops the leaders we need in our communities and businesses.”

Our Greatest Need

Why are gifts to The Rollins Fund so important to Rollins?
  • Your gift demonstrates your satisfaction with the Rollins experience by providing the best educational experience to students who are now attending or considering attending Rollins.
  • Student tuition covers a large portion of the Rollins experience—about 80 percent—but your support makes up the difference for every single student.
  • Gifts of all sizes make an impact in our national rankings. That’s because alumni participation rate is measured by the percentage of graduates who support the College with gifts. Our rate is strong, but it resets every year.
  • The College’s endowment is preserved through your annual gifts to the Rollins fund, as these donations can be used immediately to offset the College’s annual operating budget.

Overview

By giving to The Rollins Fund, you support all of the things that set Rollins apart.
  • Exceptional faculty mentors who have a gift for teaching and inspiring others;
  • Students who want to make a difference in the world; and
  • A stunning campus in the heart of Central Florida that inspires thought and creativity

Donors typically designate their annual contributions to the College’s highest priority. This means you can grant Rollins the flexibility to use your contribution in the area of greatest need at the time your gift is received. However, you may also designate your gift to support your particular area of interest.

The Rollins Fund supports:

  • financial aid
  • field studies
  • internship programs
  • library resources
  • study abroad opportunities
  • art exhibitions
  • laboratory equipment
  • collaborative research
  • pre-professional programs
  • guest lectures
  • classroom technology
  • student organizations
  • community service projects
  • peer mentor programs
  • career services
  • student success initiatives
  • student advising

The Parents Fund

If you are the parent of a current student or alum, your contribution of any amount is considered a parent gift. No matter where you choose to allocate your gift, we recognize your generosity and special dedication to Rollins students.

Typically, parents direct their gifts to The Parents Fund, which is a component of The Rollins Fund that shares the same designation options. Memberships in The Parents Council and Fiat Lux Society begin with an annual gift of at least $2,500.
