PLUS loan Steps:

1. If applying for a Parent PLUS loan, consider also completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If applying for a GRAD PLUS loan, you must complete the FAFSA prior to applying for the PLUS loan.
2. Determine amount needed to borrow, taking into account the 4% PLUS loan fee.
3. All PLUS loans are assumed to be for the academic year, with half of the loan disbursed each semester. If you are borrowing for one semester only, please contact our office.
