Types of Aid

There are four basic types of financial aid - Scholarships, Grants, Loans, and Employment.  Please follow the links below for information regarding each type.

Undergraduate & Graduate Scholarships    
     Holt Scholarships for Undergraduate Students Amount varies Need, academics, and leadership; complete FAFSA and HOLT scholarship application by published deadline
     Bright Futures Scholarships for Undergraduate Students
$75 or $100 per credit hour (estimate)
 Must file a FAFSA.

     Holt Scholarships for Graduate Counseling Students

   
     Graduate Studies in Counseling Assistantships
   
     Masters of Liberal Studies Scholarships
   
     Outside Scholarships Amount varies

Up to full tuition Eligible military veterans and dependents.
Undergraduate Grants    
     Federal Pell Grant $0 - $5,645 Need; complete FAFSA
     Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
$300 Need; complete FAFSA by April 15th
     Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG)
$1,800 Need and Florida resident; complete FAFSA
     Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG)
$2,100 (estimate)
Florida resident and file FAFSA.
Undergraduate & Graduate Loans    
     Federal Stafford Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized)
$200 - $20,500 FAFSA and grade level
     Federal Parent PLUS Loan Cost of attendance less other aid Credit-eligible borrower/parent of a dependent undergraduate student
     Federal Graduate/Professional PLUS Loan Cost of attendance less other aid Credit-eligible borrower/graduate student; must complete FAFSA
     Private Student Loans Cost of attendance less other aid Credit-eligible borrower
