Feed the Need

Feed the Need, presented by Mayflower Retirement Community and Winter Park Memorial Hospital, is not your average food drive. It is the first of its kind, community-wide effort to raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Feed the Need

In our community, 172,590 children struggle with hunger. When these kids have no food, we have no choice but to respond.  This fall the Winter Park community is breaking new ground in an effort to end hunger in Central Florida.

Thursday, November 6 | 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cornell Campus Center Marketplace
Join us as we look at hunger through the eyes of those less fortunate. We’ll provide a limited menu and every meal costs $6. A portion of every meal sold will be donated to Feed the Need.

Chef Showdown
Thursday, November 13 | 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cornell Campus Center Marketplace
Join us for this friendly competition as Rollins Dining culinary staff members go head-to-head in a bid for you to purchase their meal. A portion of the sale of each meal will be donated to Feed the Need.
