In today's global marketplace, strategic HR thinking and planning needs to translate a uniquely developed business strategy into a plan of action. Such implementable actions necessitate the total engagement of all employees, up, down and across the organization, if results are to be achieved. Total transparency is an essential requirement in this effort so that everyone is working from the same agenda with an unyielding focus of the goals of the organization. HR is instrumental in this endeavor!
Over the next 10 weeks, you will learn how to sequence the strategic thinking and planning process, identify strategic challenges and objectives; determine action plans and associated metrics, and finally deploy those plans, initiatives, and measures. The overarching objective of this program is to produce a comprehensive plan of action to ensure that critical HR functions are effective and contribute to the long-term competitive advantage and growth of the organization.
