Jane Reimers, Ph.D.
In 2003, Jane Reimers joined the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College following 14 years at Florida State University, where she held the KPMG Professorship in Accounting. During her tenure there, she served as both department chair and as an associate dean for graduate programs. Before joining the FSU faculty, she taught in the MBA program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Professor Reimers grew up in the Orlando area, earning her bachelor's degree at the University of Florida and her master's degree at the University of Central Florida. She worked as a high school math teacher and as an auditor with a national accounting firm in Orlando before going on to the University of Michigan, where she earned a Ph.D. in accounting. At FSU, she won a University Teaching Award and has published research in the Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons, Decision Sciences, and Accounting, Organizations and Society.
