Getting to know the numbers…the fundamentals of Accounting

This workshop is delivered in two consecutive parts. The first part of the workshop covers fundamentals of financial accounting, including the conceptual framework of accounting, financial statements, and current topics in financial accounting. The second part of the workshop covers managerial accounting concepts and applications, including capital budgets, operating budgets, and performance measurement.

If you want to know how a company is doing, the first place to look is at the numbers. This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to enhance their understanding of internal and external accounting information generated by their company. At the conclusion of this module, participants will have a better understanding of how to interpret accounting information and of how accounting information is used to make decisions that affect the future operations of the company.
