Program Overview:
Today, more than ever, finance is the universal language of the corporation – of its goals, objectives and results. To get ahead and stay ahead, today’s managers have to be “finance savvy.” -American Management Association, 2003
This dynamic and fun online program will do more than teach you about numbers. You’ll learn what the numbers mean and most of all, you’ll gain confidence in your ability to deal with the financial information you see in your job – and with your ability to work proactively with finance professionals.
While the program is designed to provide you with a better understanding of the numbers side of whatever business you are in, this is not a “number crunching” seminar! The program emphasizes understanding and application, answering the questions, “How do the numbers get onto the basic financial statements – the balance sheet, the income statement, and the statement of cash flows?” and “How can I impact these numbers and make informed decisions based on them?”
In the business world today, all managers are being held accountable for the bottom line – no matter how large or small their span of control. This practical seminar will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to step up to the challenge, enhance your career path, and add value to your organization.
