Bronwyn Hoffmann, MA, MST (Oxford)

Bronwyn Hoffmann's guiding philosophy and energizing force in life is "To listen to your instinct, expand your horizons, derive energy from your passion and follow through with tenacity'.  Celebrating 20 years international consulting experience in the US, European and African markets, Bronwyn's primary expertise is in organizational behavior with specific emphasis on changing mindsets to develop high performance leaders and teams. This is achieved using extremely effective and creative personal profiling tools and techniques such as Emotional Quotient Inventory and the Belbin Team Profiling diagnostic.

Bronwyn Hoffmann studied in South Africa where she obtained her first Masters Degree and was then awarded several scholarships to attend Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Her second Masters Degree in Quantitative Method placed her in the top 10% graduating at Oxford University with distinctions.  Thereafter she joined Deloitte and Touche International Management Consultants. She gained extensive experience in leadership, strategy, organizational restructuring and change management, in both the private and public sectors to gauge readiness for change. This culminated in her receiving the Deloitte and Touche Extra Mile Award for outstanding Client Service. After 6 years at Deloitte and Touche she set up her own management consulting practice in South Africa operating on a national network basis which expanded to the USA in 1999.  During this time she was on the faculty of the International Center for Management Development (ICMD) - affiliated with the London School of Business and Economics) and was an associate director of Peter Laburn International (PLi) specializing in Strategic Change Management and Executive Leadership Development.  The success of the tailored executive development programs she designs, rests on the personal profiling platform established at the outset to catapult the process into practical application. Since 1994, she has been an accredited user of the Belbin Team Profile diagnostic developed by Meredith Belbin (Henley College, United Kingdom) and the BarOn Emotional Intelligence Inventory (USA).

Balancing sound academic theory and practical application has been achieved by Bronwyn's active involvement as an adjunct instructor with the International Business and Management Center (IBMC) (UK). Drawing upon her wealth of experience and knowledge, Mrs. Hoffmann has developed and facilitated seminars and workshops on an array of subjects including leadership, change management, mentoring, emotional intelligence, strategy and team-building.  Her innate ability to engage participants and provide real-world insights and application have consistently garnered her the highest ratings of any of the facilitators in the 25 year history of the IBMC.  Moreover, she has been the lead in establishing programs with notable corporations such as Disney World Orlando, Dimension Data Americas and Dimension Data Europe, Lexmark International, Merrill Lynch, Tupperware Brands Corporation, the Darden Group and the American Bankers Association (ABA).
