Weather & What to Wear
Weather in the Orlando area can vary dramatically day-to-day all year long. In the summer, you can expect rain nearly every day, so do bring an umbrella. In the winter, our temperatures can vary from near freezing to the upper 80s. Florida is relaxed and casual. Appropriate dress for our programs is comfortable casual. The classrooms may be a bit cool; a light jacket or sweater is recommended.

Airports & Local Transportation
Two commercial airports, Orlando International Airport (OIA) and Orlando-Sanford Airport, service Central Florida. Orlando International is the largest airport. It is located approximately 30-45 minutes south of Rollins. Orlando-Sanford is located in Sanford, approximately 45 minutes north of Rollins. There are an abundance of rental car and taxicab companies in Orlando. Some hotels offer shuttles. Public transportation is quite limited.

Driving Directions
See our detailed driving directions. Rollins College is located in downtown Winter Park, just 10 minutes north of downtown Orlando. The campus is just off Fairbanks and Park Ave. A modern parking garage is located one street north of the campus, one block east of Park Ave. A map of the campus will be sent to you with your confirmation package.

Fun Florida Attractions
Central Florida is home to some of the world's most famous attractions. Rollins College is conveniently located not far from Sea World, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, Walt Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center, Busch Gardens and numerous others. There are dozens of excellent golf courses, as well.
