Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Scholarship

Applications accepted January 1 - March 1, 2017.

This award, made possible through the generosity of the Rick and Susan Goings Foundation, is available to a high school senior or transfer student who was or is a confirmed Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida member (active membership for a confirmed period of two or more years).

This award will cover the tuition cost of up to three (four-credit) courses per semester less all other grants and awards that apply toward the cost of tuition (excluding PELL grant awards). The award is renewable at the same level for a total of up to four academic years from the initiation of the award or until graduation, whichever comes first.

Applicants must complete the Hamilton Holt School admission process (including submission of official high school and/or college transcripts); and must submit on or before March 1, 2017 a Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida scholarship application, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),  a letter of support from the Boys & Girls Clubs unit director. The application requires a one page essay describing the impact the Boys & Girls Clubs has had on your life and how you will use what you have learned to better Rollins and/or your community. Priority consideration will be granted to students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, but students earning a 3.0 or better in two or more recent semesters may submit a written appeal with their application.

This award may not be combined with other Rollins institutional grants or scholarships.
