Rollins Evening Graduation Information

The annual Commencement Ceremony for graduates of the Hamilton Holt School will be held on:

Saturday, May 13, 2017
Ted & Harold Alfond Sports Center on Rollins College Campus
Ceremony start time: 10:00 am

This ceremony is held to honor 2016-2017 students of Rollins College Hamilton Holt School and include the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Master of Arts - Mental Health Counseling
  • Master of Arts in Teaching
  • Master of Education
  • Master of Health Services Administration
  • Master of Liberal Studies
  • Master of Human Resources

Student Participation

Participation Survey

The survey closed February 28. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, please contact Laura Pfister at lpfister@rollins.edu asap.

Graduating students will receive instructions for commencement mid-April when regalia is available for pickup at the bookstore. 

Appeal to Participate Prior to Completing Degree Requirements

Students who have outstanding degree requirements may request to participate in the ceremony by submitting a request in writing to the Appeals Committee. Specific criteria is outlined on the form. 

Special Needs/Accommodations

Please know that an interpreter for the hearing impaired will be provided at the commencement ceremony.  If you or a guest requires accommodations for special needs (such as wheelchair access or floor seating), please complete the online request form. It is very important that we receive this information by Friday, March 31.

Regalia

The Hamilton Holt School orders regalia for students using information received via the online participation survey. You will receive email notification when the regalia is ready for pickup at the Bookstore. Please be prepared to provide photo identification.

Announcements

Graduates who wish to order personalized announcements should do so by March 1. These items can be ordered through Josten's via their website at www.jostens.com. Please contact the Rollins Bookstore for more information about rings and diploma frames.

Diplomas

Diplomas are distributed at the annual ceremony for students who have completed all degree requirements. Students who do not receive their diplomas at the ceremony will be able to pick up their diplomas after May 16. August 2016 graduates are encouraged to participate and will receive a discrete blank diploma cover at the event. Graduates who have an unpaid balance at the time of Commencement will not receive a diploma or final transcript until the debt is resolved.
