sat prep

The SAT test is a high-stakes event. This SAT Prep course provides Orlando area high school students with an opportunity to prepare for the SAT exam in the weeks leading up to the test. We offer SAT Blitz and SAT Summer Institutes. Rollins Test Prep offers the SAT Blitz Prep Course at Rollins College which is same great material and same outstanding instructors as our SAT Institute courses · in a slightly condensed format.  Our SAT Blitz offers serious preparation to help you get accepted into the school of your choice. Students benefit from 16 hours of face-to-face classroom instruction.

Students generally take the SAT during their junior year of high school. Students are provided with an in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan. This course is ideal for rising juniors, who may be taking the test for the first time. This class is also designed to help those high school students that have already taken the SAT but wish to improve their score. Join our expert instructor for this comprehensive test preparation experience. The SAT Blitz is usually on four consecutive Saturdays or Sundays. Students will learn general information about the SAT, question formats, study tips, quantitative subjects and verbal subjects and see examples of typical SAT exam questions. This course is designed for students planning to take the SAT exam during the school year. We recommend taking the SAT right after the course ends. The cost of the SAT Blitz is $399.

Our SAT Summer Institute format provides you with four consecutive days (20 hours of face-to-face classroom instruction, plus 4 hours of scheduled live-online review sessions) out of your summer (or during Orange county spring break) to get an edge on the SAT by studying with Rollins College. Learn skills that will help you earn the points you deserve on this crucial gatekeeper test, and discover techniques that the test designers don't want you to know. The SAT Summer Institute at Rollins College prepares you with proven strategies for success on the SAT exam. The experience is a great supplement to your total college preparation plan, and the time investment will be well worth it when you get your SAT scores in the mail. Our program is much more than a 1 week class. The SAT Summer Institute includes online tools (live-online review sessions, online office hours, and access to recorded versions of the class modules) to help you perform at your peak on exam day. Four online review sessions are held in the weeks leading up to the fall SAT exam dates. Online office hours provide a convenient way for students to address specific questions or concerns that they may have. Students need only have high-speed access to the internet, speakers, and Adobe Flash Player to participate in the online sessions - no additional software is required. The cost of the SAT Summer Institute is $449.

system requirements for the program

Our SAT and ACT Summer Institute programs include online tools to help you succeed. Four online review sessions are held in the weeks leading up to the fall SAT and ACT exam dates for those in the SAT/ACT Summer Institute program. Online office hours provide a convenient way for students to ad dress specific questions or concerns that they may have. Students need only have high-speed access to the internet, speakers, and Adobe Flash Player to participate in the online sessions - no additional soft ware is required.

The interactive one-hour online review sessions allow students to participate and ask questions of our expert test prep instructors. The live-online review sessions are also recorded -  students can still benefit even if their schedule doesn’t allow live participation. Review sessions will follow the schedule of the Institute.

Online office hours are free-form meetings open to any student in a SAT/ACT Summer Institute (not the SAT/ACT Blitz). Instructors will be on hand to answer any questions that you might have. The sessions are student-directed, meaning that there will not be a planned presentation each session. Our instructors will answer questions and work through problems in the order that they are received.
