HIS 120 Decades of Decision
Introduces the study of history through an examination of the political, economic, social, intellectual, and cultural events of a specific ten-year period (chosen by the instructor). Appropriate for nonmajors.  BASED ON INSTRUCTOR: Chambliss (U.S.), Strom (U.S.), Norris (Teaches both U.S. and Latin America courses. HIS 347 History of Urban America
An analysis of the growth and development of urban space in the U.S. Special emphasis on how cities developed and their impact on politics, economics, and culture. Incorporates analysis of the technological transformation associated with urban life, infrastructure, and city planning in U.S. society.
