The College recognizes its obligations under the Rehabilitation Act of 1983 and the Americans with Disabilities Act to provide an environment that does not discriminate against persons with disabilities. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, a “person with a disability” includes “any person who (i) has a physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more of such person’s major life activities, (ii) has a record of such impairment, or (iii) is regarded as having an impairment.
In an effort to provide equal access to all students who have been admitted to Rollins College, the Disabilities Services Office will work to ensure that students with disabilities are availed the necessary services and support to maintain a level playing field.
