Professional MBA Admissions

Apply Now
The Rollins Professional MBA program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2010 term beginning in January 2010.

Admission
Admission to a Rollins MBA Program is selective and based upon an evaluation of all application materials submitted by a candidate. Our admissions policy ensures that incoming classes will be comprised of individuals who represent a diverse background, exercise integrity and demonstrate management potential. Academic records, score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), previous and current professional experience, and evidence of maturity and motivation are among the factors that are evaluated during the admission process.

The Professional MBA (PMBA) Program enrolls two classes per year — in September and January. Since admission is granted on a rolling basis it is to your advantage to submit an application as early as possible.
Admissions Instructions

The materials listed below must be sent to the Crummer School for your application to be evaluated by the admissions committee. The application, statement of purpose and resume should be submitted together. Remaining documents can be submitted separately. Please send all admission materials to:

Application for Admission

We encourage prospective students to apply online. You may also download and print a copy of the application and the necessary forms.

Statement of Purpose
The Crummer School Admissions Committee uses your statement of purpose to evaluate several areas of your candidacy. First, your statement of purpose demonstrates the thoroughness of your career planning and preparation. Second, your statement of purpose often reveals your strengths as well as areas of opportunity. Finally, the statement of purpose demonstrates your written communication skills. Please proofread your work for both spelling and grammar. Statements submitted with these errors reflect a lack of attention to detail. The suggested length for the statement of purpose is between 500 (1 page) and 1,000 words (2 pages).

Transcripts
Official transcripts of all academic course work must be submitted in sealed envelopes, signed by the appropriate university officials. Students who have attended or graduated from an international college or university must provide an official transcript and a translation into English from World Education Services (WES). Information on document evaluation can be found at www.WES.org. You may request email information at info@wes.org, or contact them via telephone at 1-800-937-3895.

Letters of Recommendation

Two letters of recommendation are required.  They should be written by individuals who are familiar with your academic performance, or professional persons who can highlight your potential for graduate work. A letter from your immediate supervisor is strongly encouraged. Letters should be sent in a timely manner and are required for your application to be considered complete. The Professional MBA admissions office often contacts these individuals during the application review process.

Résumé
Your résumé outlines your career progression and highlights significant accomplishments. Take some time with your résumé and use it to reveal your strengths and potential for success.

GMAT
The GMAT requirement is waived only for applicants who have already earned a graduate degree in an acceptable field of study as determined by the Program Director. All other applicants are required to submit an official score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Official scores should be sent directly to the Crummer school from Pearson VUE ™. Please call 1-800-717-GMAT or visit www.mba.com to schedule a test time or to have GMAT scores sent to the Crummer School.

The Crummer School offers a GMAT Review course several times each year. For specific dates, fees and to access the registration form use the following link GMAT or call 407-647-1252.

Interviews
All applicants to the PMBA program are required to participate in a personal interview with the Director. Interviews help assess an applicant's qualifications and afford the applicant an opportunity to further discuss their credentials and qualifications. Once you have submitted a complete application, you will be contacted by the program office to schedule the interview appointment. The PMBA Admissions Committee does not allow phone interviews.
