Rollins Executive MBA Program Ranked 59th in the World by Financial Times

ORLANDO, Fla., October 19, 2009 — The Rollins MBA at the Crummer Graduate School of Business announced today that its EMBA program has received international recognition, having been ranked the top MBA program in Florida and 59th in the world by the Financial Times. This is the first year that the Rollins MBA has been included in the Financial Times EMBA rankings.

“We are honored that our Executive MBA program has been recognized on a global level for excellence by such a prestigious publication as Financial Times,” said Craig McAllaster, dean of the Rollins MBA at the Crummer Graduate School of Business. “The ranking validates the effectiveness of our MBA program in equipping students with the leadership skills needed to navigate this increasingly challenging economic climate.”

The article, which appeared on newsstands today, rates the top 95 Executive MBA programs. This is the ninth year the Financial Times has published its ranking of Executive MBA programs, part-time MBA degrees for senior working managers. The ranking is compiled using data from two sets of surveys: one is completed by alumni who graduated from the respective programs in 2006; and the other by the business schools.

This year, 113 business schools took part in the survey, compared with 109 in 2008. Some 7,200 alumni were then contacted for the alumni survey and more than 3,770 completed the online questionnaire. The overall response rate was 52 percent.
