Are you an advanced entrepreneur? Do you have an established business that is in growth or expansion mode, or perhaps you’re a mature entrepreneur with a wealth of experience under your belt? At the Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship we connect advanced entrepreneurs with students, and with one another to create “advanced action learning.” Our MBA students are available for internships and consulting projects within your company. Additionally, we provide resources and programs to help you advance and grow your business.
We have many opportunities for you to connect and engage, and we welcome your interest and active participation. For more information on opportunities to engage with the CFAE, please contact Cari Coats.
Areas for engagement with CFAE include:
Advanced Entrepreneur Speaker Series — This series brings in advanced entrepreneurs to facilitate a dialogue with students, faculty and alumni on an entrepreneurial topic.
Entrepreneur Roundtables — Advanced entrepreneurs engage with a small group of students over lunch roundtable in an informal, interactive session.
Entrepreneurship Internships — Students are provided a semester-long opportunity to experience entrepreneurship first-hand within entrepreneurial companies.
Entrepreneurial Leadership Connection — Entrepreneurs are matched up with a small group of students, actively engaging on a monthly basis (preferably over a meal) over the course of their MBA program.
Entrepreneur Consulting Program — Teams of four-to-five students are assigned to entrepreneurial companies, both domestic and international, to problem solve on a variety of business issues.
Rollins MBA Venture Challenge — This business plan competition provides students, alumni and faculty a competitive opportunity to take an idea for a new product or business and develop a plan to introduce it to the marketplace. Qualified judges are required for the semi-final and final rounds of competition.
Dream Team — As needed, an advisory support group is assembled for a select number of high quality business plans that emerge from the entrepreneurship classes as well as our Rollins MBA Venture Challenge.
Classroom and Faculty Interaction — Faculty are continuously identifying qualified speakers for classroom presentations and project involvement. Subject matter ranges from strictly entrepreneurship to a functional discipline, e.g. marketing, finance, etc. These opportunities are handled on a case-by-case basis. For more information, please contact Cari Coats.
Seminars and Workshops — Opportunities are available to provide programming and content for entrepreneurship-related seminars and workshops, as well as participate on panels.
