Volunteer
Volunteers serve a variety of very important functions at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. The three main categories are:
Board of Visitors Community leaders, professionals, and dedicated supporters of the museum comprise the Cornell’s appointed advisory board, known as the Board of Visitors. This group of individuals and its committees work with the director and the College in support of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum and its mission.

Docents are members of the museum who train with the education coordinator before each exhibition season to lead tours for schoolchildren and other groups visiting the museum.

Receptionists serve as the welcoming face of the museum for all our visitors. They receive basic training in museum admission policy and museum shop sales.
