Rollins Immersion exposes students to critical cultural, social, political and structural issues in the community through weekend and week-long projects of civic and community engagement throughout the academic year.

SPARC Day 2011

In August 2011, 826 Rollins students worked with 24 different community agencies throughout Central Florida. The students worked over a period of 4 hours, providing about $87,093 worth of volunteer work to the greater Orlando community!

Making Lives Better

The student group Making Lives Better traveled to Nepal in 2010 and 2011 to create a water filtration system for a village, as well as help the villagers in restore the local school.

SPARC Day 2010

On Saturday, August 21, 2010, more than 600 incoming first-year and transfer Rollins students, faculty, peer mentors and staff volunteers put Rollins' mission into action by participating in community engagement projects across Central Florida as part of SPARC, a component of Rollins' fall orientation.
