Application to the Hamilton Holt School

Candidates must file an application form with a $35 application fee. Applications should be filed prior to registration. Students who have previously taken courses in the Hamilton Holt School need not file another application. Applications and relevant applicant documentation remain on file for one calendar year from the date of submission, however, students will be responsible for program requirements in effect at the time of their first registration in the Holt School. Admission to the Hamilton Holt School is based upon individual course performance. No credentials are required of audit (non-credit) students.

All students will be reviewed after they have attempted four courses. One of these courses must be English 101 Freshman Composition (which may be completed at Rollins College or transferred from another institution). And, one must be INT 200 Introduction to Liberal Arts which must be taken here unless students have completed the Associate of Arts degree and/or two Humanities courses prior to entering Rollins College. Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended by the student must be on file with the Hamilton Holt School by the end of the student's first term of enrollment. Please note, that while the Hamilton Holt School does not require transcripts for transfer students to be on file until completion of the first term, the Financial Aid approval process does require immediate submission. Students who have not previously attended a College or University (first-time freshman) must provide an official high school transcript prior to or at the time of registration. If a transcript is not provided for a first-time freshman student, the student will be considered non-degree-seeking and be ineligible to receive financial assistance. If any student has less than a "C" (2.0) cumulative average at the end of the four-course period, he/she will not be allowed to continue in the program unless there are extenuating circumstances.
