Director, Horizon Jobs Grant in E Business Technology
Provided leadership and direction to
create partnership in developing curriculum for E-Business Technology as a
collaborative project between Seminole Community College and Valencia
Community College. Created and facilitated Industry Advisory Board,
Project Workteam consisting of lead faculty from both colleges, and
Steering Committee of senior administrators from both colleges. Developed
structured communication plan, tracked project milestone, and provided
closure on key activities to meet timely schedule requirements. Managed
budget of $900,000 and provided oversight of spending plan.
1999-2000 Mentor
Coordinator, Florida State University
Trained and coordinated the activities of
mentors for the 2+2 Distance Learning Initiative. Collaborated with
university faculty and administration to meet multiple and complex
requirements of teaching in a virtual environment. Conducted seminars for
professors, mentors and administrators to provide ongoing feedback
regarding best practices. Conducted evaluations and submitted research
results to all stakeholders for corrective action. Represented Florida
State University's distance learning model at various research
conferences.
