About the College of Professional Studies

A Rollins education challenges students to connect to new ideas, think critically, communicate effectively, and prepare for meaningful lives and productive careers. This is the essence of our applied liberal arts philosophy and the guiding principle behind the College of Professional Studies.

The College of Professional Studies’ curriculum combines traditional liberal arts courses with classes devoted to specialized topics and professional training. For a Rollins student who has already decided on a career path, a College of Professional Studies education offers an edge. Every College of Professional Studies graduate will enter the workforce with added experience, knowledge, and confidence.

CPS Academic Departments

Along with the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Professional Studies administers Rollins’ traditional full-time undergraduate day programs. The College of Professional studies comprises four academic departments: business & social entrepreneurship, communication, education, and health professions.
