Founded in 2005 by a group of faculty members with an interest in promoting Chinese culture and bridge in the gap between Eastern and Western cultures, the Rollins China Center was established. Today, the China Center is part of a select network of institutions that promote exchanges, research, and learning/teaching of China.

To promote the College's mission of global citizenship and responsible leadership through educational and cross-cultural exchanges.

Objectives

• Assist in the establishment of Rollins College as a leader in global education
• Facilitate exchanges, teaching, and learning about China
• Promote China-related research, conferences and speaking engagements
• Partner with external bodies, colleges and universities as well as units within Rollins College to develop educational program
