The Cornell Fine Arts Museum offers docent-led tours to the general public and community groups such as Central Florida clubs and organizations, elder hostels, the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Vistors Bureau, and other tourists groups.
Guided tours by appointment for groups of ten or more may be scheduled three weeks in advance of the tour date. The galleries are also available for self-guided tours by classes or groups during all hours of operation. We ask that you make appointments for these visits to ensure that everyone has the most enjoyable and engaging experience.
CFAM's public programs include lectures by Distinguished Visiting Scholars and Artists, films and other ongoing educational programs for students and adults.
The Elements of Art Summer Camp at CFAM!
June 11 - 15, 2012
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
One week filled with art lessons in a variety of media. Student artists enjoy art projects that are related to work by artists displayed in the museum, for a true well-rounded art appreciateion experience.
Each day begins with art activities to reinforce the understanding of a particular Element of Art. in the afternnons, we tie our Eliement of the Day into the other Elements.
The camp will allow students to explore various media while understanding how art relates to other subject areas.
