Shannon L. Healy, MA. LMHC is a full-time personal counselor in the Counseling and Psychological Services office. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stetson University. Shannon enjoys working with individuals, couples and groups utilizing an active, collaborative and strength-based approach to counseling. Her clinical background has focused on relationship issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and grief/loss. She looks forward to helping Rollins students develop insight, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in order to make satisfying life choices and maximize their capacity for continued emotional growth. Shannon has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys spending her vacation time camping, hiking and climbing in the mountains. When time permits, she combines her interest in personal development and her love of adventure by facilitating experiential Ropes Course programs for individuals, couples and corporations. ![]()
