Counseling and Psychological Services

The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office at Rollins College offers an atmosphere where personal concerns of any nature can be examined and discussed freely and confidentially.

 

Our services are offered free of charge to all currently enrolled students.

 

In addition to individual and group therapy, we provide consultations to students or parents concerned about a friend or family member as well as referrals to mental health professionals in the community. 

 

Common Counseling Concerns:

Academic Stress Anxiety and Depression
Eating and Body Image Concerns Relationship Issues
Sexual Abuse, Molestation and Rape                Cultural Adjustment
Alcohol and/or Drug Use/Dependency

 

Other Services:

CAPS provides other services including Outreach Programs.  Some programs are provided through Health Promotions.

Training Clinic:

CAPS is a clinical training site for practicum and internship students enrolled in a Graduate Counseling Program.  Practicum and internship students are supervised throughout their clinical experience and have a particular interest in working with college students.
