Management & Executive Education Offers New Online Financial Accounting Course

September 7, 2012 - A new online course, the Essentials of Financial Accounting for the Non-Financial Manager, has been added to the Center for Management and Executive Education calendar. This session targets the specific challenges managers face in today’s business market. Leaders can now gain the finance and accounting expertise needed to plan budgets, review financial statements and to obtain a better knowledge of all things finance. The offering will begin the week of September 25, 2012 with an online orientation. Class sessions will commence on October 2, 2012 and run through November 13, 2012.

The course is offered via distance learning with a blend of videos, online problems, quizzes and synchronous, virtual sessions with the faculty member, Dr. Jane Reimers. This format provides the ability to work through the information at each student’s own pace.
