Rollins MBA Professor Theodore Herbert Inducted as Master Professor in Hall of Fame for GLO-BUS

Rollins College is pleased to announce that Rollins MBA management professor Theodore Herbert, has been inducted into the GLO-BUS (Global Business Strategy) Hall of Fame as a Master Professor. Mr. Herbert was one of 67 professors out of more than 2,400 registered GLO-BUS instructors who achieved Master Professor Status by having a succession of Grand Champion teams in the Best-Strategy Invitational Competition.

The GLO-BUS Business Strategy Simulation is an international challenge where students run simulated companies and compete head-to-head in a global market arena. Professor Herbert incorporated the GLO-BUS cyber simulation into his management policy curriculum because it offered students the opportunity to learn from making real time decisions on a number of complex business variables such as R&D, workforce compensation, production, outsourcing, product line performance, pricing, and finance.

Also being honored by GLO-BUS this year is Professional MBA student and member of Professor Herbert’s team, Bradford Zmrazek. Zmrazek came in first place in his industry of nine teams, and finished with a perfect score of 110, beating out the competition for the top spot.

“Professor Herbert challenged our students by including the simulation program from GLO-BUS into the classroom,” said Craig McAllaster, Dean at Rollins College. “The project has developed incredible momentum and has been more successful than anyone could have imagined. We are thrilled that our faculty and student’s hard work has been recognized.”

The Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of GLO-BUS, as well as honoring those who have excelled as GLO-BUS company managers and as simulation instructors.
