Jacqueline Brito, SPHR

Helping stakeholders discover the extraordinary and transformational learning experiences we offer is simply invigorating.” Jacqueline Brito, SPHR, is the Assistant Dean at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business, where she oversees recruiting, admissions and marketing for the school’s top-ranked MBA programs and executive doctoral program. Prior to assuming her position at Rollins, she had a 20-year career in the corporate world. She served as an HR consultant at the Chicago Tribune’s Orlando Sentinel, a multimedia communications company, where she developed recruitment and retention strategies and managed employee relations issues for various departments. Prior to the Sentinel, she worked in internal audit and planning for the Orlando International Airport and the Birmingham International Airport Authority. Her professional experience also includes healthcare administration and banking. Ms. Brito’s articles on topics such as Salary Negotiation and Women: Putting an End to the Gender Wage Gap, Could a Strong Work Ethic Hurt your Leadership Style?, The Best Hires Make the Best Admits, A Simple Résumé Update Could Result in a Higher MBA Salary, MBA Programs and Your Career: From the Cubicle to the Corner Office, and Needs vs. Wants have been published both domestically and internationally. Active in both community and professional organizations, Ms. Brito is a member of the advisory board of the Boys and Girls Club and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She formerly served as a member of the board of directors for the American Society for Training & Development (currently known as the Association for Talent Development), as United Way Chair and Co-Chairperson, as well as a classroom facilitator with Junior Achievement. She is also a Central Florida YMCA Adult Achiever alumna.
