15th Executive MBA International Week
StudentsOctober 9-13, 2012
IPADE Business School, Mexico City

Each year the Crummer School sends a group of working professional students to the Executive MBA International Week at the IPADE Business School in Mexico City, Mexico. In an effort to increase lifelong learning opportunities, the Crummer School is offering this opportunity to alumni. The week-long conference consists of over 500 executives from 9 business schools and 8 countries gathering together to share experiences, compare points of view, and to enrich each participant's understanding of what it means to be socially responsible in business. This is a great opportunity to develop a network of global contacts and to continue to learn about a topic that impacts all areas of businesses.  Click here to view highlights from the 2011 conference.

Don't miss out on this opportunity. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Dr. Mary Conway Dato-on at mconwaydato-on@rollins.edu by July 5, 2012.

Keynote at Family & Friends Preview Weekend

Listening Pays: Achieve Significance Through the Dr. Rick BommeljePower of Listening

by Dr. Rick Bommelje

Saturday, June 15

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Knowles Memorial Chapel
Rollins College

All Crummer alumni are invited to the Rollins MBA Preview Weekend Keynote address by Dr. Rick Bommelje. Listening - it seems so simple. Yet, it's estimated that the average person ignores, forgets, or misunderstands at least 75% of what he or she hears. Is it any wonder that mistakes occur, opportunities are missed, or that the "I'll take care of it!" never happens? Most people are much better at hearing themselves talk than they are at listening to what others say. The value of listening goes far beyond common courtesy. It is fundamental to effective leadership and team success. Dr. Bommelje will lead you through a practical and engaging session that will heighten your awareness of this critical leadership success skill. Click here to register to attend.
