Tuition Payment Plan with Tuition Management Systems (TMS)

Rollins College offers undergraduate and graduate students to pay education expenses monthly through our partner, Tuition Management Systems (TMS).

The plan differs from a loan in that there is no interest rate or credit approval needed.  An enrollment fee paid to TMS allows students and families to spread estimated costs for fall, spring, and summer terms over a 10-month, 7-month, and 5-month period to allow for smaller, affordable payments instead of paying your balance in one large lump sum.

Payment Methods Accepted by TMS

Payments are due to TMS by the 1st of each month using one of the following options:

  • Check
  • Money order
  • Electronic Payments - drafted from a checking or savings account.
  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) - subject to a 2.99% non-refundable transaction fee.

Please Note – The convenience fee for using a debit or credit card is changing from a flat 2.99% fee to a model that charges the convenience fee that correlates directly to the card type being used. Payers will have the opportunity to try different debit and credit cards to obtain the best rate possible before submitting the payment.

  • Western Union PhonePay - allows a student to make a payment over the telephone using a checking account.

Cost to Participate

  • $155 enrollment fee to TMS is required for the 10 month & 7 month plans
  • $130 enrollment fee to TMS is required for the 5 month plans
  • $30 returned payment fee if a payment is returned

    Important Items to Remember

    1. TMS forwards payments to Rollins College once a month, at which point funds are applied to your account. As long as your payment shows up to date on your TMS plan, your account is considered current.
    2. TMS plans DO NOT automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added.  If you change your course load or withdraw from the College, you may be entitled to an adjustment of the amount you owe based on the change you made and the date you made the change.  If the amount of your payments made under your payment plan exceeds the amount you owe, you will receive a refund. For additional questions, contact the Bursar’s Office at either 407-646-2252 (Option 1 for College of Liberal Arts day students, and Option 2 for Holt and Crummer students) or at bursar@rollins.edu  for more information.
    3. Students who enroll in the plan for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters will not be canceled from their class schedules as long as they are current with making their monthly payments on time to TMS and have no past due balances with the Bursar’s Office.
    4. Students and Authorized Payers should continue to monitor their Rollins QuikPAY Student Billing Account each month for new charges billed by the college outside their TMS payment plan.  Charges such as bookstore, traffic fines, health, library etc. will not be transferred to their TMS payment plan automatically.  These charges generated outside the TMS payment plan should be paid directly to the Bursar’s Office to avoid monthly late fees and bursar holds.  Payments for additonal charges can be made through their QuikPAY online student billing account in Foxlink or by using one of the other payment methods available at http://www.rollins.edu/bursar/payments-billing/index.html.
