Cahall-Sandspur Field and Barker Family Stadium

Sports Played: Varsity Soccer - men's and women's
Capacity: 500 

The state-of-the-art Cahall-Sandspur Field and Barker Family Stadium were completed during the summer of 2004 and provide Rollins with one of the top soccer facilties in NCAA Division II. The playing surface was built with the best athletic natural turf surface and includes all the recommended drainage and irrigation requirements. The stadium has 500 chair back seats, team rooms for both men's and women's soccer, rest rooms, a concession stand and a ticket booth.

We are thankful to Peter Cahall '71 and Frank Barker '52, the primary donors for the new stadium, and all others for their donations, including Tony Tremaine '70, Wynee Warden '45, Stan Gale '72, Joe Raymond '84, T.B. Garcia, Mike Fogle '77, Duke Marsh '76 and Thomas Thompson '68.

Alfond Sports Center  - Building Tour - 360 degree view of Warden Arena

The new Harold & Ted Alfond Sports Center more than doubles the athletic space of the previous Enyart-Alumni Field House. In addition to the completely renovated Warden Performance Arena, the facility includes the McKean Gymnasium for intramurals and recreation play as well as  banquets and concerts. The facility also includes an athletic office suite, new locker rooms, and Daryl's Fitness Center.  The facility also houses two classrooms and a Hall of Fame room.

Alfond Swimming Pool

Sports Played: Varsity Swimming
Capacity: 200 

The Alfond Swimming pool serves as home for the varsity men's and women's swim teams. The place to be on a warm spring day or to swim laps on a chilly winter morning, the Alfond Swimming Pool was build in 1972 and added modern lockerroom facilities in 1997. Blessed with a tremendous view overlooking Lake Virginia, the 25-yard, eight-lane pool is heated for winter use and cooled for swimming in the summer. The pool is also very popular with Rollins' students for both sunbathing and swimming.

Alfond Boathouse

Sports Played: Varsity waterskiing , sailing

The Alfond Boathouse was constructed in 1988 to facilitate the sailing and waterski programs at Rollins College. A $500,000 facility, the boathouse contains a locker room, classroom, video equipment and custom designed storage space built especially for the sailing squadron.

Alfond Stadium at Harper-Shepherd Field

Sports Played: Varsity baseball
Capacity: 1000 

One of the nation's finest small college baseball fields, Alfond Stadium at Harper-Shepherd Field was dedicated March 8, 1983 and features all the quality amenities of a modern baseball facility. Two area merchants, James E. Harper and F.W. Shepherd, donated the land to the City of Winter Park in 1926, which in turn turned it over to Rollins in 1933. The facility was renovated in 1984 and was dedicated during an exhibition game with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stadium includes comfortable seating for 1,000 spectators, a covered grandstand, modern locker rooms, a free weight room and one of the most aesthetically pleasing fields you'll find anywhere. Alfond Stadium is the site of the annual Rollins "Baseball Week" Tournament, the nation's oldest regular season baseball tournament.

Bert W. Martin Tennis Complex and Copeland Tennis Stadium

Sports Played: Varsity tennis, men's and women's

Capacity: 250

One of the ultra-modern Rollins facilities, the Bert W. Martin Tennis Complex includes six state-of-the-art tennis courts overlooking Lake Virginia. Built with a generous $100,000 grant from the Bert W. Martin Foundation of San Marino, Calif., the six lighted courts are used by the men's and women's varsity tennis teams for practice and competition. The courts were officially dedicated February 22, 1989.  The Copeland Tennis Stadium was completed in 2002 thanks to the generosity of former Rollins tennis player Duane Ackerman '64.

Tiedtke Tennis Courts

Sports Played: Used by any member of the college for tennis purposes 

Prior to the construction of the Martin Complex, the John Tiedtke Courts were the heart and soul of Rollins tennis. Now the Tiedtke Courts, located smack in the middle of campus, are used primarily for classes and open recreational play.

U.T. Bradley Boathouse

Sports Played: Rowing

Located three minutes away from campus on Lake Maitland, the U.T. Bradley Boathouse is an outstanding facility used by the Rollins rowing teams. The facility includes weight and conditioning equipment as well as a boat launch with direct access to Lake Maitland. 

The Bradley boathouse is located off of Alabama Dr. on the shores of Lake Maitland in the heart of Winter Park.

Rollins Softball Stadium at Lake Island Park

Sports Played: Varsity softball

Capacity: 500

A joint project between Rollins and the City of Winter Park, the Rollins Softball Stadium at Lake Island Park was dedicated in 2004 as one of the best collegiate softball facilities in the South. The field is located at 450 Harper Street and sits on the edge of Lake Island Park. The stadium boasts a covered seating area for 500 spectators as well as batting cages and warm-up areas for the Tars and opponents.

The softball stadium is located at Lake Island Park, on the corner of Comstock Ave. and Ward Ave. in Winter Park.
