AIP Program Overview

The Academic Internship Program (AIP) promotes self-awareness and career development by integrating academic learning with workplace experience.  By participating in Rollins’ AIP, Arts & Sciences students can receive general elective credit while exploring various career fields as an intern for a professional organization.  Students receive advising support from the Director of Academic Internships, the Office of Career Services, and from the Office of International Programs relating to internships abroad (i.e. London or Sydney Internship Programs).  International Business students may contact the Director of International Business Internships for advisement on how to receive internship credit as a major requirement.  All other students interested in receiving major or minor credit for an internship should contact their department chair for approval.
