There are three possible lodging alternatives for the conference.

Stay in beautiful, newly renovated Ward Hall on the banks of Lake Virginia, right on the Rollins College campus.  Choose either single or double occupancy.  Ward Hall has common lounge areas with televisions and meeting spaces and a basic kitchen on the fourth floor.

The cost for dorm rooms is $100 for double occupancy or $130 for single occupancy.  Both prices include all four nights (June 9-12).  Paying for fewer nights is NOT an option, although you may arrive and depart whenever is convenient to you.

Double occupancy may be mixed sex, IF requested by both parties.

We will provide linens, towels, pillows, and a blanket for an extra cost of $20.  The pillow and blanket will be donated to a local charity after the conference.  If you would prefer to bring your own, you may.

Dorm check-in will begin Wednesday, June 9th. Attendees staying in dorms will be given their keys at registration. Linens, towels, pillows, and a blanket (provided at an extra cost, if requested) will be in the assigned rooms. If you arrive after registration has closed, please contact Robert Hutchings at 412-877-4569 and he will assist you.

Reservations for dorm rooms should be made on the registration form.

PLEASE NOTE: Ward Hall dorm registration will close June 1.


Park Plaza Hotel

The Park Plaza Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel three blocks from Rollins College in the heart of Winter Park.  The hotel has a restaurant and a bar (see dining guide).  

The conference has reserved 25 of its 28 rooms.  Reservations MUST be made by May 10th, after which the rooms will be released.

The cost of the rooms varies considerably, and you should contact the hotel directly for more information.  All rooms include a continental breakfast delivered to your door.

Best Western Mount Vernon Inn

The Best Western Mount Vernon Inn is a large hotel on a main street about 1.5 miles from Rollins College.  It is walkable, although it will be hot!  The hotel has a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

The conference has reserved eighty rooms.  Reservations must be made by May 10th, after which the rooms will be released.

Standard rooms will cost $89 plus tax, while deluxe rooms will cost $99 plus tax.  The rooms do not include any meals.
