Studio Art majors have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of two and three-dimensional media in the Department. Drawing from their own areas of expertise, the faculty offer a variety of courses such as painting, drawing, sculpture, bookbinding, printmaking, photography and graphic design.
A studio major’s capstone experience is the exhibition of their work in the Cornell Fine Arts Museum in their senior year. We invite you to visit the student art work page to see samples of work from different stages in the studio major, and work from graduating Rollins Art majors.
Each summer, interested studio majors have the opportunity to created large-scale collaborative art projects with Central Florida community partners through the Student-Faculty Collaborative Scholarship Program and the Office of Community Engagement. To find out more on the Collaborative Community Art project email Professor Rachel Simmons.
