Windgate Scholarship Recipient

WINTER PARK, FL -  The Department of Art and Art History is pleased to announce that Studio Art major David Matteson ('14) has been awarded a Windgate Scholarship from the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN.  The competitive scholarship, which covers tuition, room and board, and even comes with a $300 stipend to use for travel and/or supplies (a total value of $875) will enable David to attend Joe Ruminski's woodturning class, Beyond the Basic Bowl, at Arrowmont at the end of October.
